Where is the main water shutoff?
In many homes it is at the front of the house near the street side, at the water meter, or on a wall in the garage. Turn the handle clockwise to close it. If you cannot find it, call and we can walk you through it.
Should I try to fix a burst pipe myself?
Stop the water first, then call. A temporary repair can hide damage inside a wall, and permanent repair should be done properly.
